[Remote] Financial Document Reviewer – Investment Management
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Morae is seeking an experienced Financial Document Reviewer to join their team. This specialized role requires expertise in reviewing and analyzing financial and investment-related documentation, focusing on investment management agreements and private funds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of complex financial and investment-related documents
- Analyze and review Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Review documentation related to:
- Fundraising transactions
- Private Equity Funds
- Private Funds
- Investment Management structures and arrangements
- Identify key financial terms, obligations, risks, and operational provisions within documentation
- Extract, validate, and summarize critical information from financial agreements and supporting documents
- Ensure document reviews are completed within strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, operations teams, and subject matter experts to resolve document-related issues
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across large volumes of complex financial documentation
- Support due diligence, compliance, and investment management review processes as required
Skills
- Strong financial background with experience in investment management, asset management, private markets, or related financial sectors
- Proven experience performing financial document review
- Direct experience reviewing documentation relating to: Fundraising activities, Private Equity Funds, Private Funds, Investment Management
- Extensive experience reviewing and analyzing Investment Management Agreements (IMAs)
- Ability to interpret complex financial documentation and identify critical provisions
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting fund administration, investment operations, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investment firms
- Familiarity with subscription documents, fund offering materials, side letters, partnership agreements, and related investment documentation
- Experience working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Knowledge of institutional investment structures and fund governance frameworks
