[Remote] Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Agile Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to lead large, high-visibility initiatives in the fintech and POS domain. The role involves managing complex, cross-functional projects from planning to launch while ensuring strong governance and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program planning and delivery for complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting POS products and payments capabilities
- Drive program governance cadence, including risk reviews, compliance/control checkpoints, dependency management, and decision logs
- Develop and maintain integrated plans covering milestones, deliverables, resourcing assumptions, and critical path items
- Track and report program health using KPIs, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation plans to closure
- Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to align scope, resolve tradeoffs, and secure timely decisions across product, delivery, and business teams
- Prepare executive-ready status updates, escalations, and readouts that clearly communicate progress, blockers, and next steps
- Drive process improvements that strengthen delivery predictability, transparency, and adherence to project management best practices
- Support AI-enabled product initiatives by coordinating rollout activities and encouraging practical adoption of tools such as Copilot within delivery workflows
- Coordinate working hours and meetings to maintain consistent alignment with Eastern Time for stakeholder engagement and delivery cadence
Skills
- 5+ years of project or program management experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution and delivery
- Demonstrated fintech/payments or merchant services domain experience, including direct support of point-of-sale (POS) products or platforms
- Experience driving governance and controls activities such as risk reviews, compliance initiatives, dependency management, and program health tracking (KPIs, milestones, risks)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including facilitating decision-making and delivering clear, concise status reporting to senior and executive leadership
- Familiarity or exposure to AI-enabled product initiatives and willingness to leverage tools such as Copilot to support AI adoption and rollout efforts
- Ability to balance strategic objectives with detailed execution, while improving processes and reinforcing project management standards
- Ability to work remotely with consistent alignment to Eastern Time (EST) working hours for stakeholder coordination
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
- Experience working with Agile teams and product organizations
