[Remote] Mid-Market Account Executive - Public Sector

The Mid-Market Account Executive will build relationships with mid-sized customers in the public sector, driving sales and demonstrating the value of sensor data in their operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop Executive-Level relationships within your territory
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
- Demonstrate excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
- Strategically outbound prospect
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
- Experience selling full-cycle sales into complex environments (preferably within Public Sector - Local Gov, K-12, High Education)
- Must have a strong track record of overachievement to quota
- Cold calling, generating outreach, building relationships excites you
- Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology
- Must be able to travel up to twice per quarter for onsites
- Awards for top achievement (President's club, Winner's circle, Top 10%)
- Experience public speaking in front of executive level personas
- Passion in closing large, complex deals
