Position Summary – Remote Data Entry Specialist

Your work will directly impact the quality of data that fuels downstream analytics, AI models, and client reporting, making you an essential contributor to the health of the nation’s healthcare infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data from scanned images and electronic documents into the QuickClaim platform, maintaining a target accuracy rate of 99% or higher.
  • Identify and categorize document types (e.g., claim forms, eligibility letters, benefit statements) based on visual cues and provided guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on entered data, verifying that all fields meet or exceed internal quality standards before submission.
  • Safeguard Personal Health Information (PHI) by adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and arenaflex’s data‑privacy policies.
  • Communicate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners to resolve ambiguities or escalated issues.
  • Suggest process improvements, automation opportunities, or workflow enhancements based on frontline observations.
  • Complete daily task quotas, ensuring that all assigned work is finished before the end of your shift.
  • Assist with ancillary office duties such as file organization, basic reporting, and participation in virtual team meetings.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; ability to spot inconsistencies, missing fields, or typographical errors.
  • Proven typing speed of at least 50 words per minute (WPM) with 95% accuracy and 4,500 keystrokes per hour (KPH) with 95% accuracy, verified through a standardized test.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English; ability to comprehend complex medical terminology and insurance language.
  • Self‑motivation and a solid work ethic, with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
  • Comfort with multitasking, rapid task switching, and maintaining focus during repetitive work cycles.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and data security, especially regarding PHI and client‑sensitive information.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in healthcare data entry, medical billing, or insurance claim processing.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information exchanges (HIE), or similar platforms.

  • Experience using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tools and image‑processing software.
