Role Overview

This full‑time, remote position is designed for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives on organization, enjoys working with e‑commerce platforms, and possesses a strong analytical mindset. You will be responsible for entering purchase orders, maintaining inventory records, and supporting cross‑functional teams to resolve data discrepancies quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase Order Processing: Accurately input purchase orders into LightSpeed POS as they are received from the buying team, ensuring each entry reflects the correct product, quantity, price, and supplier details.
  • Shopify Inventory Management: Update product listings, stock levels, and SKU information on the arenaflex Shopify store, guaranteeing that online shoppers see real‑time availability.
  • Data Reconciliation: Perform regular audits between LightSpeed and Shopify to identify and resolve mismatches, preventing overselling or stockouts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate weekly inventory reports, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights to the operations and merchandising teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with buyers, warehouse staff, and customer service representatives to clarify order details and address any data‑related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement enhancements to data entry workflows, documentation standards, and inventory tracking methods.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear, organized records of all purchase orders, inventory adjustments, and communication logs for audit purposes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a data entry or inventory management role within an e‑commerce environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Shopify—including product uploads, inventory updates, and basic theme editing.
  • Experience working with LightSpeed POS or a comparable retail management system (experience with LightSpeed is a strong plus).
  • Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of maintaining high data accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with internal teams and external vendors.
