IIG Studios is a modern creative studio focused on film, storytelling, AI-assisted media production, and strategic creative development. Through its film division, IIG Films, the company develops original projects, proof-of-concept scenes, trailers, short-form films, cinematic promotional content, and select client production services. Our inaugural independent feature, AFFIRMATIVE, is a historical drama set in 1960s Ohio exploring family, opportunity, and the power of access through the story of a Black family man navigating work, dignity, and a rare path into early computer training. IIG Films blends traditional filmmaking principles with AI-assisted tools to help creators, entrepreneurs, organizations, brands, and story owners turn scripts, concepts, campaigns, and personal stories into polished visual content designed for engagement, partnerships, and growth. We are actively building momentum around AFFIRMATIVE while also developing select client-service revenue opportunities in trailers, short films, branded storytelling, sponsorships, and strategic creative partnerships. Role Description IIG Studios is seeking entrepreneurial-minded Business Development / Sales Closers to help identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across film projects, creative production services, branded content, sponsorships, partnerships, and AI-assisted media solutions. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity designed for someone who is self-directed, relationship-driven, and motivated by commission-based upside. The ideal candidate can build relationships, open doors, conduct professional discovery conversations, and help move serious prospects toward signed agreements and paid deposits. This role is especially well-suited for someone with experience or strong interest in sales, business development, media, film, advertising, sponsorships, creative services, creator economy, entrepreneurship, or brand partnerships.   • Script-to-trailer production
  • AI-assisted cinematic trailers
  • Short film and proof-of-concept production
  • Branded storytelling campaigns
  • Film marketing materials and pitch assets
  • Creative direction and editing packages
  • Sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Product placement or brand integration discussions
  • Select client-service engagements for creators, entrepreneurs, organizations, and emerging brands

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Identifying and researching qualified prospects
  • Generating leads through LinkedIn, email, warm introductions, networking, events, and relevant industry communities
  • Conducting or helping facilitate discovery conversations
  • Understanding prospect goals, budget range, timeline, and project fit
  • Communicating IIG Studios’ value proposition clearly and professionally
  • Helping present capabilities, service options, and next steps
  • Supporting the deal process from initial interest through signed agreement and paid deposit
  • Maintaining basic pipeline notes and lead status updates
  • Nurturing long-term relationships with potential clients, sponsors, partners, and collaborators
  • Representing IIG Studios / IIG Films with professionalism, integrity, and good judgment

Preferred Experience Preferred but not required:

  • Business development, sales, account management, or partnership experience
  • Experience in media, film, advertising, entertainment, creative services, sponsorships, or brand partnerships
  • Existing network of creators, entrepreneurs, brands, nonprofits, agencies, filmmakers, writers, or investors
  • Comfort with CRM tools, pipeline tracking, LinkedIn outreach, email outreach, and discovery calls
  • Familiarity with sponsorships, product placement, or branded content

A bachelor’s degree is welcome but not required. Sales ability, professionalism, judgment, network quality, and follow-through matter more.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based / revenue-share opportunity. There is no guaranteed salary, hourly wage, or employee benefits associated with this role. Compensation will be based on revenue actually collected from qualified closed deals, subject to a written contractor agreement. Potential commission rates may range from 10%–18% of collected client deposits or collected project revenue, depending on the type of opportunity, deal size, source of the lead, level of involvement in the sale, and final written agreement. Potential revenue categories may include:

  • Trailer-related production services
  • Short film or proof-of-concept production services
  • Larger AI-assisted film or media production engagements
  • Branded storytelling and creative-service packages
  • Sponsorship, partnership, or strategic introduction opportunities

Commissions are not earned from verbal interest, unpaid proposals, or uncollected invoices. Final commission terms, eligibility, payment timing, deal ownership, and renewal/referral rules will be defined in writing before any commissionable activity begins. This opportunity is best suited for entrepreneurial business development professionals and sales closers who are comfortable earning based on closed business and collected revenue. Important Note This is not a salaried employee position. It is best suited for someone who is comfortable operating independently, building relationships, and earning based on closed business and collected revenue.
