[Remote] Operations Staff Attorney

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lisinski Law Firm is a dedicated humanitarian immigration practice committed to providing meaningful support to individuals and families seeking safety and stability. The Staff Attorney will review immigration applications, perform legal research, and assist in helping clients obtain necessary documents while working closely with senior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Review draft immigration applications pursuant to instructions from Senior Attorneys
• Identify, track, and make necessary edits prior to submission
• Clearly communicate to other team members regarding edits
• Meet daily goals on reviewing cases
• Perform legal research on immigration law topics

Skills

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
• Active member in good standing of a state bar
• Ability to follow detailed directions
• Support mission of helping people currently living in America obtain their documents and stay together with their family
• Computer skills (Typing - MS Word and MS Excel, Document Management-DropBox, Email - MS Outlook)
• Experience using a case management software system
• Interest in immigration law
