[Remote] Literature Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer Project

Invisible Technologies is seeking a literature expert to help shape the future of AI by providing high-quality training data for large-scale language models. The role involves engaging with literary passages and analytical tasks to improve AI's interpretive accuracy and reasoning quality.
Responsibilities
- Engage the model with literary passages, analytical questions, and interpretation tasks
- Verify factual accuracy and coherence
- Evaluate the depth and validity of literary analysis
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Provide structured feedback to improve prompts, evaluation criteria, and reasoning quality
Skills
- Strong familiarity in areas such as classical literature, modern and contemporary fiction, poetry, drama, literary theory, comparative literature, and critical analysis
- Ability to challenge advanced language models on topics such as thematic interpretation, narrative structure, authorial style, symbolism, historical context, genre conventions, and close reading
- Engage the model with literary passages, analytical questions, and interpretation tasks
- Verify factual accuracy and coherence
- Evaluate the depth and validity of literary analysis
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Provide structured feedback to improve prompts, evaluation criteria, and reasoning quality
- A degree in literature, English, comparative literature, or a related humanities field
- Teaching experience
- Academic research
- Editorial work
- Extensive reading and writing experience
- Clear, metacognitive communication—explicitly articulating reasoning and interpretive steps
