Accounting Assistant

CNH is a company focused on innovation and sustainability in agriculture and construction. They are seeking an Accounting Assistant responsible for assisting with general accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting operations and month-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Participate in audits to ensure compliance with internal controls
• Perform data entry and support document management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy
• Other accounting duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior internship or related experience a plus, but not required
