Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? Verdantas is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Massachusetts team. This position can work remotely within the state of Massachusetts. In this role, you will engage as a strategic guidance consultant to senior leadership, delivering analysis, recommendations, and implementation strategies to support organizational design, workforce planning, and enterprise information initiatives. What You'll Do: Provide a cross-functional, enterprise-wide perspective that aligns strategy, operations, and financial stewardship Assist with enterprise strategy, including AI governance and AI use to drive operational efficiency Strategize on the budget process, cost efficiency analysis, and related workload impacts Recommend process improvement and operational efficiencies to reduce costs Strategize on enterprise-wide change management Provide feedback as needed regarding space planning or HR activities Meet with senior leadership to review existing and future organizational structures and provide recommendations for implementations Review current organizational structure (by program and locations to identify opportunity areas and areas of concern Provide recommendations on succession planning for specific positions within the agency What You Bring: Master's degree in Public Administration Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field 10 + years working for the MassDEP Demonstrated experience leading strategic visioning, policy development, and business process redesign Salary Range: This position will pay $84/hr.
