System Engineer I
Labcorp is seeking a System Engineer I, to join our team in Bengaluru city, Karnataka state. Labcorp is seeking a remote-based individual to join our Team! Work Schedule- 2nd Shift (India) Job Responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows Server OS environments (2016, 2019, 2022) Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues across hardware, OS, and network layers Design and implement PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices Monitor server performance, availability, and security compliance Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects and service improvements Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support critical systems and respond to incidents
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Engineering Additional Job Standards 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server OS environments Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills Solid understanding of server hardware, virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), and networking fundamentals Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SCOM) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
