Legal Job Description Under general supervision, ANALYZES Agency metrics and DEVELOPS and EXECUTES strategies to achieve key business objectives. Essential Functions: 1. INTERVIEWS and/or APPROVES job applicants for employment. CONDUCTS and/or REVIEWS associate performance appraisals. INITIATES or APPROVES salary adjustments, performance ratings, and other personnel changes. COUNSELS associates and TAKES disciplinary action or TERMINATES the employment of associates as appropriate. 2. LEVERAGES analytics and industry trend research to drive product strategies. 3. ANALYZES quantitative and qualitative customer feedback from surveys, social media, and sales data to deepen user engagement. 4. TRANSFORMS data into valuable information. IDENTIFIES patterns and DEVELOPS product change recommendations. 5. COMMUNICATES actionable implementation plans to line management. 6. ADVOCATES for data and technology enhancements to drive agency objectives. COORDINATES with IT to create requirements when needed. 7. ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles. 8. MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with subordinates and management. 9. MEETS the requirements specified below.

We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Independent Agency Strategy & Analytics, to join and lead the Independent Agent (IA) funnel and help us turn insights into action. This is an exciting opportunity to be a driving force in discovering opportunities for data solutions and creating more robust insights through effective collaboration and effective reporting. If you're a dynamic problem-solver who excels at driving data-based insights while fostering relationships and collaboration across the operation, we want you on our team! This role blends business acumen, technical fluency and data analysis to uncover opportunities, implement changes, and drive actionable recommendations through reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end IA reporting needs, including data infrastructure at times, and reporting to uncover opportunities and drive performance improvement utilizing tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Develop strategies that improve key business outcomes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as Data, Product, Tech and Business to create reporting that helps drive the business forward
  • Maintains business metrics reporting, stratified by various dimensions to provide visibility and decision-making to senior leadership.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong skills/experience in data analysis, storytelling, and visualization using Power BI or other tools to influence business decisions and inform on strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership.
  • Experienced (Proficient) in SQL and Snowflake and (Extract, Transform, Load), ETL processes to access and structure large datasets for reporting and analysis.
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while working effectively with cross functional teams.
  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance operations management and/or proven ability to lead-business focused initiatives from strategy through execution, including coordination of timelines and stakeholder alignment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Annual Salary $82,000.00 - $141,450.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
