We are looking for an experienced hands-on Project buyer in Portugal to join our growing procurement team, supporting UK operations in a collaborative international and Diverse environment. Your role in our team Manage end-to-end project purchasing to support project and business operations and delivery Take ownership of sourcing, supplier selection, quotation analysis, negotiation and purchase requests across multiple categories Work closely with engineering, operations, project management and finance teams to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and within budget Support with import activities and documentation, customs requirements and supplier communications Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving performance and cost optimization Monitor supplier delivery schedules and proactively support project timelines through effective expediting Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations and quality standards Participate in project and supplier meetings remotely with occasional travel Your profile Proven experience in a hands-on Project Buyer, Procurement or purchasing role Strong background managing high volumes Experience supporting both project and wider business requirements Knowledge of import processes, international shipping, customs documentation Experienced in Project-based procurement, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, construction sectors A confident negotiator with strong commercial awareness and supplier management skills Able to work independently in a remote environment with remaining closely aligned with UK team Strong communication skills Comfortable using ERP/MRP systems, MS Office applications, excel Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal Your benefits Exciting tasks in a fast-growing, future-oriented industry player Competitive salary package, with extra-days off, including your birthday, flexible working hours and remote work option.
