Engineer, Sourcing Development, Footwear

Principal Accountabilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consumer research, R&D, and engineering. Compile and evaluate research on future product requirements. Identify enhancements to current products. Assist the product development team in testing strategies, including pricing, product design, marketing, advertising, and packaging. Knowledge & Skill Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent years of experience in a similar industry). One year of related experience preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficient PC skills. Knowledge & Application: Good knowledge of a single specialist area through prior study or experience. Applies principles and practices in a recognized professional field. Follows standardized rules, procedures, and operations within own area. Determines a course of action based on guidelines. Problem Solving: Encounters similar problems requiring fact-finding, clarification, and basic analysis. Solutions are found within normal operating processes and policies. Selects the best solution based on defined procedures or precedence. Occasionally uses basic problem-solving techniques to define problems and identify solutions. Interaction: Exchanges standard/basic technical or non-technical information with colleagues, superiors, and customers. May interpret or clarify technical information to aid understanding.
