This is a remote position. PERMANENT DAYSHIFT, REMOTE / WFH-PHILIPPINES Legal Assistant – Law Firm Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join a busy Personal Injury Law Firm. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting legal professionals with administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of files. Key Responsibilities: ● Providing administrative support to lawyers and legal executives, including managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling correspondence ● Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, including drafting letters and court documents ● Communicating with clients over the phone, to assist with enquiries and provide updates on case progress ● Management of email inboxes ● Managing filing systems and maintaining accurate records of client information and case files ● Assisting with billing processes and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained Job Qualifications: ● Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a law firm in the role of Legal Assistant, or professional office setting ● Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (hard requirement) ● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities ● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) ● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines ● High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality ● Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills ● Experience with Monday.com (nice to have) but not a must have ● Knowledgeable with Practice evolve - legal database (not a hard requirement) ● Advantage if they have worked in a AU law firms (hard requirement) Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with legal terminology and legal documentation ● Familiarity with case management software ● Background in a similar role within the legal industry ● More than a year of experience Apply To This Job
