Design Manager
Summary: Will develop, check, and review all finished deliverables with the Project Manager and/or Survey & Mapping Manager for Quality Assurance and Quality control. Will coordinate the development, checking, and submittal of alignment sheets, property plats, detailed construction drawings, site specific exhibits, and permit drawings as specified by the client or project manager Will coordinate a remote team of drafters and survey data technicians Will coordinate deed plotting and boundary rectification with PLS Will perform and coordinate checking of drawing packages and other deliverables Will provide timely progress reporting and forecasting Required Skills and Experience: Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Mapping and Pipeline Design Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and GIS Systems Must have a firm understand the process of preparing ‘Issued for Construction’ pipeline drawing packages Strong understanding of pipeline design, permitting, easement acquisition, and bore/HDD drawings Strong understanding of PLSS land system, as well as other regional land systems Previous experience working on natural gas pipeline projects is required Bluesky (Skyline/Lightning), Plat Mapper, ArcPro, and scripting experience is a plus Apply To This Job
