Job Responsibilities What You Will Do 1. Drafting & Documentation Support Prepare first drafts of HR letters, policies, staff communication, internal alignment emails, summary notes, chronologies, issue matrices, simple contract redlines and simple legal advice. Assist in preparing briefing packs, fact summaries, and working drafts for internal stakeholders. 2. Legal Research & Comparative Analysis Conduct first‑cut research. Prepare jurisdiction comparisons, short research memos, and regulatory monitoring summaries, especially for China employment updates. 3. Investigation & Evidence Support Conduct first‑pass review of high‑volume emails/documents. Prepare chronologies, data logs, and evidence summaries. Assist with fact validation, organising dataroom materials, and preparing instruction sets for outside counsel where needed. 4. China‑specific Employment Support Track APAC employment regulatory developments. Prepare summaries and update communication to local HR teams. Support culturally sensitive stakeholder communications. 5. Knowledge Management Maintain organised precedent banks, checklists, trackers, and playbooks. Contribute to improving template consistency across APAC. 6. General Legal & Administrative Support Participate in internal meetings and alignment discussions. Support the Employment Legal function on ad‑hoc operational and compliance tasks. What We Are Looking For Completed L.L.B., JD, or equivalent legal qualification (or final‑year candidate with strong employment law interest). Completed employment law and/or human resources module(s) in university preferred. Research‑oriented, structured thinker with excellent attention to detail. Strong written communication skills; ability to draft clearly and accurately. Ability to work independently, manage time‑sensitive assignments, and handle confidential materials. Strong analytical ability and willingness to support high‑volume review tasks when required. Experience with APAC employment law or HR functions is a plus. Prior in‑house, court or employment‑law experience preferred but not required.
