What You'll Do
Lead MiniMed's global content ecosystem, developing a clear, distinctive brand narrative and scalable content approach that drives consistency globally and impact locally Define and operationalize a unified content strategy across all audiences — patients, caregivers, HCPs, payers, and employees — anchored in a focused set of high-impact stories, campaigns, and priority moments that advance business priorities and strengthen market presence Shape MiniMed's global voice and competitive narrative, ensuring the organization communicates with clarity, relevance, and differentiation across markets and channels Establish the strategic direction for global content and media engagement, aligning campaign architecture, editorial priorities, and channel strategy across paid, owned, and earned environments to maximize reach and impact Set enterprise standards for content development, including messaging frameworks, formats, governance models, and operating processes that enable speed, quality, and measurable impact across the organization Develop and execute enterprise-wide integrated marketing programs, including business case development, budget management, execution, and ongoing performance measurement Lead sponsorship and partnership strategies, including concepting, evaluation, creation, and activation Partner with the Digital Center of Excellence to define the measurement approach for content and media performance, including shared KPIs, testing frameworks, and continuous optimization practices Develop reputational KPIs and listening tools to track and measure program impact on a corporate, regional, and global basis Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams, marketing leaders, and key partners to ensure global strategy translates effectively into local execution while maintaining alignment and consistency Drive innovation in storytelling, engagement models, and channel approaches — identifying new opportunities to connect with audiences and scaling the approaches that demonstrate impact Build and maintain stakeholder contact programs that deliver MiniMed's point of view and insights to the right audiences at the right time
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of relevant marketing experience, or 13 years with an advanced degree Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience Preferred Skills & Competencies Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and lead corporate-level marketing strategy with broad organizational impact, including P&L or budget accountability Executive Leadership: Experience managing multiple teams and departments, with a track record of developing high-performing leaders and setting organizational direction Integrated Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated mastery in integrated marketing, content strategy, or a combination of related marketing disciplines with proven experience managing budgets and driving measurable business outcomes at an enterprise level Storytelling & Brand: Exceptional ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate across diverse audiences, channels, and markets Omni-Channel Expertise: Deep knowledge of paid, owned, earned, and shared media strategies with a data-driven approach to optimization Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to align and mobilize regional teams, agency partners, and senior stakeholders around a shared content vision Innovation Mindset: Passion for identifying emerging trends, testing new engagement models, and scaling approaches that demonstrate real impact Healthcare or MedTech Experience: Familiarity with regulated industries, HCP engagement, and patient-facing communications is a strong advantage At MiniMed, we believe that great marketing has the power to change lives. PR) locations (USD):$220,000.00 - $330,000.00The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
