Accounting Manager - HYBRID

Accounting Manager Retail / Distribution Baltimore, MD (Hybrid) Compensation: Up to $125,000 I'm currently partnering with a well-established retail and distribution company in the Baltimore area that is looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager to their team. This is a hybrid position with strong visibility to leadership and an opportunity to play a key role in a NetSuite-based accounting environment. What You'll Be Doing Lead the month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Oversee general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Manage and develop a small accounting team (AP/AR and/or Staff Accountants) Serve as the NetSuite subject matter expert and drive process improvements Handle inventory accounting, COGS, and revenue recognition Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support the business Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audits and compliance Help strengthen controls and scale accounting processes as the company grows What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a plus) 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience Hands-on NetSuite experience required Background in retail, distribution, or inventory-driven businesses preferred Prior experience leading or mentoring accounting staff Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail Solid Excel and system skills Why This Role Is Worth a Look Hybrid work schedule (Baltimore-area office) Salary up to $125K, depending on experience Competitive benefits package High-impact role with process ownership and leadership exposure Stable company with continued growth If you're an Accounting Manager with NetSuite experience who enjoys owning the close and improving processes, this is a great opportunity to explore.
