Job Summary Responsible for driving sales in an assigned channel / team / account to meet revenue goals by developing effective business plans and sales strategies. Provides leadership and direction to sales teammates and teams through effective communication, setting expectations, and monitoring and driving sales drivers and results.Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Establish and execute Strategic Business Plans with key strategic partners. Primary responsibility is Morgan Stanley, UBS, Stifel. Recruit, train, rollout and retain new specialists as defined by the annual assignment of FIC business plan each calendar year. Manage assigned current regional specialists and retain while growing their year-over-year revenue and firm productivity. High Net Worth client cases work in selective territories of Private client offices. Help define and execute strategic and operating plans for the organization and ensure a proper risk control environment exists. Partners with operation support areas to ensure all SLA requirements are met and strong customer satisfaction scores are achieved. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing client service levels and partnering with operations leaders. Keep abreast of new developments in the insurance market through periodicals, seminars, membership in insurance industry and professional organizations, and insurance brokers and carriers. Initiate and coordinate sales promotion activities and new products in order to achieve sales and profitability objectives. Executed through monthly and quarterly firm calls and weekly RS sales management. Provide direction and leadership to sales teammates and their sales teams. Develop strategic business plan for assigned team and conduct effective planning sessions. Develop sales strategies to increase sales metrics and sales results for the team so sales plans are achieved. Monitor sales results of locations and communicate results. Ensure sales organization is promoting and cross-selling products from other lines of business, utilizing Advanced Sales to increase average size premium, and achieving balanced performance from sales teammates. Develop and implement sales strategies utilizing technology, marketing, CRM, DSR, etc. Identify individual selling skills and product knowledge deficiencies. Develop target markets and blitz sessions, follow-up on marketing efforts. Develop, implement, and drive an effective lead generation and referral program. Manage towards P&L and margin goals. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Effective time management skills Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment Ability to work in a self-directed fashion Experience with PC’s in a Windows environment Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience Minimum of five years of related sales management experience in sales leadership including proven experience in business and strategic planning, sales management, budget management, people leadership and operations management Strong sales background in leading large sales teams and/or accounts and established record of exceeding team sales quotas Significant sales and sales leadership experience in the insurance industry Significant experience in the insurance industry with proficiency in various product lines and industry knowledge Strong project management, organizational and executive presentation skills Ability to build strong, effective relationships as a leader, team member and resource in the organization Strong business acumen and general knowledge of service-profit chain methodologies Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. Series 6 and 26) Preferred Qualifications: Industry designations Advanced knowledge of Crump What AmeriLife Offers A comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, disability insurance, and life insurance.
