Job Summary / Purpose The Senior Director, Business Development & Product Sales is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth, expanding market presence, and developing long-term customer and partner relationships. This executive-level role leads complex sales initiatives, identifies new market opportunities, and collaborates across the organization to position products and solutions effectively. The role requires a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of closing high-value deals, developing go-to-market strategies, and building sustainable business growth. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Identify, pursue, and close strategic sales opportunities with enterprise customers, government agencies, partners, and other key stakeholders. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers. Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and close. Develop strategic account plans and drive expansion within existing customer accounts. Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align market opportunities with product offerings. Evaluate market trends, customer needs, competitive positioning, and emerging business opportunities. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements. Mentor and support junior sales and business development personnel as needed. Develop partnership, channel, and alliance strategies to accelerate market penetration. Prepare and present business forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Contribute to pricing strategies, proposal development, contract negotiations, and commercial terms. Drive customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.

Qualifications

Eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance - US Citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. 15–20+ years of progressive experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or related commercial leadership roles. Demonstrated success in achieving significant revenue growth and closing complex, high-value deals. Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies in competitive markets. Experience working with executive-level decision makers and managing strategic customer relationships. Proven ability to develop and execute business growth strategies. Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Advanced negotiation and contract management capabilities. Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and forecasting. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills. High degree of business acumen and commercial judgment. Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Established industry network and relationships within target markets. Experience leading enterprise, government, or large-scale B2B sales efforts. Track record of launching new products, entering new markets, or developing strategic partnerships. Experience managing multimillion-dollar sales pipelines and revenue targets Working Conditions Employees may be called upon to participate in in-person meetings, trainings, or company functions at Knowmadics offices or other designated locations. Travel in support of business operations may also be required, and employees are expected to comply with these obligations as part of their position.
