Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Service

- Provide support in the photo services area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and promotional product suggestions.
Cash Register & Transaction Management
- Operate the assigned cash register efficiently, processing sales, returns, voids, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges with accuracy.
- Collect cash, dispense change, and handle electronic payments in accordance with arenaflex policies.
- Maintain a tidy, well‑merchandised checkout area, ensuring all promotional displays are current and appealing.
Pharmacy Operations & Compliance
- Under direct supervision of the pharmacist, use arenaflex pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, enter prescriptions, and verify medication accuracy.
- Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring, and pouring pharmaceutical products, adhering to strict quality‑control standards.
- Identify potential drug interactions, dosage errors, or other prescription concerns and immediately report them to the on‑duty pharmacist.
- Assist with inventory management tasks—receiving, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments, and performing regular stock rotation using the first‑in, first‑out method.
- Support the pharmacy manager in scheduling, workflow coordination, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- Process third‑party claims, correct and resubmit manual claims, and handle telephone calls that do not require pharmacist intervention.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, and other regulated products.
Store Maintenance & Merchandising
- Keep counters, aisles, and shelves clean, well‑stocked, and visually appealing.
- Construct and maintain promotional displays, seasonal setups, and sale signage in line with arenaflex visual standards.
- Assist with food safety protocols, separating raw and pre‑cooked items, and ensuring proper placement of perishable goods.
- Participate in web‑pick‑up duties—monitoring online orders, picking items, and delivering them to customers as they arrive.
- Contribute to interior and exterior store upkeep, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and teammates.
Essential Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in territories where a different language is the primary business language).
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health‑related fields is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions associated with retail and pharmacy duties.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- At least six months of experience in a retail environment, preferably within a pharmacy or health‑care setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and pharmacy software platforms.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate medication counting, measuring, and weighing.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with inventory control systems and email communication.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or willingness to obtain it through arenaflex’s training program.
