Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Greet each customer with a warm, friendly demeanor, establishing immediate rapport and trust.
  • Assist shoppers in locating products, answering product‑related questions, and providing personalized recommendations that align with their needs.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for satisfaction.
  • Model and share best‑practice service habits—such as eye contact, active listening, and proactive assistance—with teammates to elevate the overall guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, ensuring that all interactions are efficient and courteous.

Operations & Sales

  • Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments while adhering to arenaflex’s cash‑handling protocols.
  • Process transactions including sales, returns, exchanges, voids, rain checks, and refunds with precision and compliance.
  • Recommend complementary items and promotional offers, driving incremental sales and enhancing the shopper’s basket value.
  • Maintain well‑stocked shelves, perform inventory checks, and execute merchandising standards—including promotional displays, seasonal setups, and product rotations using the first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) method.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of photo services, such as digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machine operations, while suggesting related accessories.
  • Support web‑pickup orders by monitoring the Picture Care Plus system, picking items accurately, and delivering orders to customers promptly upon arrival.
  • Uphold arenaflex’s asset protection procedures, identifying potential loss risks and acting to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and local regulations concerning regulated merchandise (e.g., alcoholic beverages, tobacco products).
  • Participate in store upkeep tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a tidy, safe environment for both customers and staff.
  • Complete special assignments and ad‑hoc projects as directed by the Store Manager or Shift Leader.

Training & Personal Development

  • Attend mandatory training sessions, workshops, and on‑the‑job learning modules to continuously improve product knowledge and service skills.
  • Complete performance‑linked learning (PPL) activities assigned by management, demonstrating a commitment to personal growth and operational excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English (except in territories where other languages are mandated).
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of a dynamic retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for helping others.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb as required by store duties.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of prior experience in a retail or customer‑facing role.
  • Previous employment with a recognized retail brand (experience with arenaflex is a plus, but not required).
  • Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented setting.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
