Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Collaboration: Work hand‑in‑hand with the sales organization to identify, qualify, and nurture high‑potential prospects across Italy and the broader EMEA region. Participate in every stage of the sales cycle—from discovery calls to contract signing—ensuring technical alignment and customer confidence.
  • Solution Demonstrations & Presentations: Design and deliver compelling, customized product demos and technical presentations that highlight arenaflex’s unique value propositions, addressing both executive and technical audiences.
  • Customer Requirement Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of customer environments, business objectives, and security challenges. Translate findings into tailored solution architectures that align with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
  • Technical Proposal Development: Author detailed technical proposals, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps that clearly articulate how arenaflex’s offerings meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) Execution: Lead PoC initiatives, orchestrating lab environments, test scenarios, and performance benchmarks to validate solution feasibility and build trust with prospective clients.
  • Product Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the customer within arenaflex, providing actionable feedback to product management and engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and feature enhancements.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Represent arenaflex at conferences, trade shows, webinars, and local user groups. Share insights on emerging security trends, competitive positioning, and best‑practice implementations.
  • Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity technologies, threat vectors, and compliance frameworks. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge bases and training programs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a technical customer‑facing role, such as Network/Security Engineer, Pre‑Sales Engineer, or Solution Architect, preferably within the information security sector.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of network security concepts, firewall technologies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, zero‑trust architectures, and cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands‑on experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of delivering persuasive technical presentations to both C‑level executives and technical staff.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Ability to build strong relationships, understand nuanced business challenges, and propose solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Problem‑Solving Acumen: Strong analytical skills, capable of diagnosing complex technical issues quickly and devising innovative, cost‑effective resolutions.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
  • Experience with SaaS security platforms, endpoint protection, or security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
  • Background in consulting or professional services, with exposure to large‑scale enterprise deployments.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
