Meditech Expanse MAR Analyst
Classification: Contract Contract Length: 12+ months MEDITECH Expanse Analyst – MAR Job Summary CereCore is seeking to hire a MEDITECH Expanse Analyst – MAR to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting MEDITECH Expanse Medication Administration Record (MAR) functionality, with a focus on build, testing, and optimization of medication administration workflows, including nursing infusion titration documentation and Pharmacy-related configuration.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced build, testing, and support for MEDITECH Expanse MAR functionality, ensuring optimized medication administration workflows.
- Design, configure, and maintain MAR build, including medication administration workflows and documentation processes.
- Support and optimize nursing infusion titration documentation workflows within Expanse.
- Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, and clinical operations stakeholders to design, validate, and improve medication-related workflows.
- Use professional knowledge and system expertise to advise clients on best practices for MAR configuration, medication administration, and infusion documentation workflows.
- Assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as approved by leadership.
- Document and develop project deliverables for both internal and external utilization.
- Provide peer-to-peer knowledge transfer, mentoring, and training within project teams.
- Manage client communication to clarify timelines, risks/issues, commitments, and best practices.
- Independently monitor and ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of deliverables.
- Contribute to strategic planning and project scope development by leveraging MAR and Pharmacy-related subject matter expertise.
- Incorporate lessons learned into methodologies, driving continuous improvement.
Position Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with MEDITECH applications, with strong expertise in Expanse MAR build, testing, and support.
- Hands-on experience with MEDITECH Expanse MAR configuration and medication administration workflows.
- Experience with Pharmacy-related build and workflows as they relate to MAR functionality.
- Strong experience supporting nursing workflows, including infusion titration documentation and related configuration.
- Ability to design, configure, and optimize medication administration workflows across clinical and pharmacy domains.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate technical workflows into user-friendly guidance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within a collaborative team.
- Experience coaching peers and guiding technical/functional project deliverables.
- Professional demeanor, adaptability, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, methods, and processes.
- Respect for diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with MEDITECH Expanse MAR implementations, optimizations, or support engagements.
- Strong background in Pharmacy workflows and medication management processes within an EHR environment.
- Hands-on experience with infusion titration documentation build and workflow optimization strongly preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced degree or clinical licensure (RN, PharmD, NP, PA, MD) preferred.
