Role Overview – Customer Solutions Engineer (Professional Services)

As a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer on the Professional Services team, you will partner closely with Technical Consultants, Service Leads, and client stakeholders to design, build, and optimize high‑performance databases and SQL pipelines within the arenaflex platform. Your expertise will directly influence the scalability, reliability, and usability of data solutions that empower marketers, analysts, and product teams to unlock actionable insights without needing deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database & SQL Performance Ownership: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of database creation and SQL generation processes, ensuring they meet stringent performance and scalability targets.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work hand‑in‑hand with project teams to prioritize work, define scopes, and allocate engineering time effectively, balancing client expectations with technical feasibility.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, implementation, or professional services, with a proven track record of delivering complex data solutions.
  • Deep expertise in relational databases, advanced SQL query writing, and performance tuning on large‑scale datasets.
  • Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark and Spark SQL; familiarity with distributed processing frameworks is a distinct advantage.
