Role Overview
In this role you will act as the trusted technical advisor for our customers and prospects. You will dive deep into Kubernetes clusters, Terraform configurations, and modern cloud‑native tooling to resolve issues, share best practices, and influence product direction. This is not a traditional support position – it is a strategic partnership role where your technical acumen directly impacts customer success and the evolution of arenaflex’s platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for all technical inquiries from customers and prospects, providing clear, actionable guidance.
- Hands‑On Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and resolve infrastructure problems yourself rather than merely escalating them, ensuring rapid resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Pattern Recognition & Process Improvement: Identify recurring challenges across accounts, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to create better documentation, tools, and workflows.
- Customer Insight Advocacy: Capture and synthesize customer feedback, turning it into concrete product roadmap items that address real‑world needs.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to guarantee that customers extract maximum value from the Platform Orchestrator.
- Thought Leadership: Share deep infrastructure knowledge, championing best practices around Kubernetes, Terraform, and other cloud‑native technologies through webinars, workshops, and internal training.
- Onboarding & Enablement: Guide new customers through the initial setup, ensuring a smooth transition from pilot to production while establishing long‑term success plans.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track key success metrics (e.g., time‑to‑resolution, adoption rates, churn risk) and present insights to leadership on a regular cadence.
Essential Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers succeed.
- Solid technical foundation in software development or infrastructure engineering, especially with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) concepts.
- Proven problem‑solving and debugging abilities, capable of navigating complex, multi‑layered environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent requests while maintaining attention to detail.
- Self‑driven, proactive mindset with a track record of owning problems from inception to resolution.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, showing strong discipline and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)
- Background in Platform Engineering, IDP development, or broader cloud‑native ecosystems.
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing technical role, such as Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or DevOps Consulting.
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Terraform (HashiCorp Certified).
- Experience delivering technical workshops, webinars, or community talks.
