Position Overview

The Hybrid Airport Operations Agent role at arenaflex blends ramp duties with front‑line customer service. You will be the first point of contact for passengers, the reliable hands that move aircraft safely on the tarmac, and the problem‑solver who ensures every bag, cargo item, and piece of equipment reaches its destination on schedule. Key Responsibilities – Making an Impact Every Shift

Ramp Operations & Aircraft Movement

  • Guide inbound and outbound aircraft on taxiways, ensuring precise gate alignment and on‑time departures.
  • Operate ground support equipment—including tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts—to safely push, pull, and load aircraft.
  • Load, unload, and sort passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, handling items up to 75 lb with care and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the ramp crew to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work area, adhering to all FAA and arenaflex safety protocols.
  • Perform routine exterior inspections of aircraft, reporting any discrepancies to maintenance teams.

Customer Service & Passenger Interaction

  • Greet passengers with a warm, professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression of arenaflex.
  • Assist with check‑in, ticketing, and boarding procedures using arenaflex’s reservation and ticketing software.
  • Rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and calculate applicable fees while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide clear, courteous communication about flight status, gate changes, baggage handling, and any service disruptions.
  • Resolve passenger concerns promptly, following arenaflex policies and escalating when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
  • Support the Baggage Service Office by tracking luggage, answering inquiries, and facilitating lost‑and‑found processes.

Additional Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of aircraft interiors and lavatories, adhering to arenaflex’s hygiene standards.
  • Participate in regular safety drills, equipment inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adapt to variable weather conditions, performing duties outdoors in rain, heat, cold, or wind while maintaining safety.

Essential Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license (certain restrictions may apply).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and flexible days off.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, and carry items up to 75 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
