Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Bookkeeping Management: Oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple client accounts, from data entry to final reporting, ensuring precision and adherence to GAAP.
- Transaction Recording: Accurately capture purchases, sales, receipts, and payments using arenaflex’s cloud‑based accounting platform.
- Bank Reconciliation & Account Analysis: Perform detailed reconciliations of bank, credit card, and liability accounts, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports that provide clients with a clear view of their financial position.
- Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processing, ensure accurate payroll tax filings, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Tax Preparation & Filing: Prepare and file individual and business federal and state tax returns, staying current with evolving tax codes and leveraging strategic tax planning opportunities.

- Client Communication & Advisory: Lead approximately 50 client calls per month, translating complex financial data into understandable insights, answering questions, and offering proactive recommendations.

Essential Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of U.S.-based bookkeeping experience with a proven track record of handling multiple client portfolios.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing both individual and business tax returns, including familiarity with Schedule C, S‑Corporation, and partnership filings.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, payroll processing, and tax regulations.
