As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) in the arenaflex Academy for Customer Success, you will be the trusted advisor who guides customers through their digital transformation journey. You’ll own the health of the relationship from the moment a contract is signed, through implementation, adoption, and ongoing value realization. Your success will be measured by customer satisfaction, renewal rates, expansion opportunities, and the ability to turn satisfied users into enthusiastic advocates.

Program Overview – arenaflex Academy for Customer Success

The arenaflex Academy for Customer Success is a structured, 12‑month development program designed for early‑career talent who are eager to launch a high‑impact career in customer success. Participants receive a blend of classroom learning, hands‑on project work, mentorship, and real‑world client exposure. Upon successful completion, graduates transition into a full‑time, customer‑facing CSM role with ongoing coaching and a clear career roadmap.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Customer Onboarding & Implementation: Lead the initial onboarding process, ensuring smooth system provisioning, data migration, and configuration for arenaflex cloud solutions.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with senior business leaders and IT stakeholders.
  • Milestone Tracking & Business Case Realization: Monitor project milestones, measure progress against agreed‑upon business outcomes, and proactively address any risks or roadblocks.
  • Adoption & Value Enablement: Drive user adoption through training sessions, workshops, and best‑practice guidance, helping customers extract measurable ROI from arenaflex solutions.
  • Renewal & Expansion: Identify renewal opportunities, develop upsell strategies, and collaborate with sales teams to grow the account footprint.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Leverage expertise from product, professional services, support, and analytics teams to deliver a seamless, end‑to‑end customer experience.
  • Data‑Driven Insights: Use arenaflex analytics tools to surface usage trends, health scores, and actionable insights that inform proactive engagement.
  • Advocacy & Reference Management: Cultivate customer champions, secure references, and facilitate case studies that showcase success stories.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training, certification programs, and peer learning circles to stay current on arenaflex product roadmaps and industry trends.

Focus Areas – Solution Portfolios You’ll Own

During the Academy and beyond, you will specialize in one or both of the following solution streams, gaining deep functional expertise:

  • arenaflex Finance & Spend Management (F&S): Master core finance processes such as accounting, procurement, and supplier management. Help customers increase visibility, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • arenaflex SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management – HCM): Develop expertise in core HR, payroll, talent acquisition, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management.

Essential Qualifications – What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior executives and technical teams alike.
  • Demonstrated passion for technology and a genuine curiosity about how cloud solutions drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of three days per week on‑site in Chicago or at client locations.
  • Self‑starter attitude, resilience, and a growth mindset that embraces feedback and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications – Nice‑to‑Have Extras

  • Internship or co‑op experience in consulting, SaaS, or enterprise software implementation.
  • Familiarity with ERP, finance, or HR systems (e.g., arenaflex Finance, arenaflex SuccessFactors, or comparable platforms).
  • Project management certification (PMP, Scrum, or Agile) or experience leading cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish or Mandarin, to support diverse client bases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or basic SQL for reporting purposes.
