Position Overview – Independent Contractor Customer Service Role

This is a fully remote, independent contractor position with arenaflex. You will handle inbound and outbound calls for a variety of clients, providing accurate information, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring every interaction ends with a satisfied customer. Because you are an independent contractor, you control when you log in, how many hours you work, and which client programs you choose to support. Your earnings are directly tied to the volume and quality of the calls you complete, with additional performance incentives available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer inquiries and initiate outbound calls across multiple client programs, including retail, healthcare, licensed and non‑licensed insurance, and tax assistance.
  • Assess each caller’s needs quickly, diagnose issues, and deliver clear, effective solutions that meet or exceed client standards.
  • Document every interaction meticulously in the designated CRM or call‑center platform, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
  • Navigate multiple software applications, tabs, and screens simultaneously while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Apply creative problem‑solving techniques to resolve complex or escalated situations, always prioritizing the customer’s experience.
  • Maintain compliance with all client‑specific security protocols, data‑privacy regulations, and arenaflex quality guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience handling inbound and outbound customer service calls.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet productivity targets without direct supervision.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with multiple browser tabs, windows, and CRM systems.
  • Basic typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download/1 Mbps upload) and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.
  • Ability to pass a background and credit check, and willingness to complete required onboarding documentation (W‑9, contractor agreement, etc.).
