Position Overview – Field Customer Support Specialist (Collections)

As a Field Customer Support Specialist – Collections at arenaflex, you will be the front‑line ambassador who bridges the gap between our customers and our financial services. Based in Columbus, OH, you will travel to customers’ homes, resolve past‑due accounts, manage product returns, and ensure that every interaction reflects arenaflex’s high standards of professionalism, empathy, and safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the internal collections team to investigate, negotiate, and resolve past‑due accounts while maintaining a respectful, solution‑focused approach.

  • Maintain the cleanliness, fuel level, and overall condition of the company‑provided vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.

  • Provide clear, courteous communication via phone, email, and in‑person, addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and offering guidance on payment options.
  • Identify opportunities to improve collection processes, share field insights with management, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or certifications in finance, business, or related fields are a plus.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer‑service orientation.
