Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented E‑commerce Order Support Specialist to join our small, dynamic office team in Westwood, NJ. In this full‑time, in‑person role, you will be the backbone of our order‑to‑delivery process, handling everything from precise order entry to shipping coordination and routine administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Management
- Enter new customer orders into our Shopify platform with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Validate custom product specifications, dimensions, finishes, and delivery timelines to ensure every order reflects the client’s exact vision.
- Maintain up‑to‑date order records, monitor status changes, and generate daily tracking reports for internal stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies before they affect downstream processes, reducing the need for costly re‑work.
- Collaborate with the design and sales teams to confirm order details, pricing adjustments, and any special handling instructions.
Shipping & Fulfillment Support
- Coordinate with suppliers, third‑party warehouses, and carrier partners (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL) to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments in real time, monitor transit milestones, and communicate any delays or exceptions to customers and internal teams.
- Resolve delivery issues such as missed deliveries, damaged goods, or customs holds by liaising with logistics partners and initiating corrective actions.
