Role Overview

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic workforce for an initial 3‑4 month contract, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. This role is ideal for candidates who excel at handling sensitive payroll information, updating client records, and ensuring data integrity across multiple platforms. You will work closely with arenaflex’s client teams, providing accurate and timely data entry support that directly impacts payroll processing, tax compliance, and overall client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and accurately input employee payroll data, personal information, and related documentation into internal and external systems.
  • Maintain and update client‑specific records, including delivery addresses, contact details, and other critical account information to ensure ongoing accuracy.
  • Enter State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate changes promptly, safeguarding the integrity of client tax filings.
  • Perform routine data validation checks, flagging inconsistencies and collaborating with client contacts to resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports that summarize data entry activities, highlighting any outstanding items or potential issues.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols, protecting sensitive employee and client information at all times.
  • Utilize arenaflex‑provided equipment and software tools to complete tasks efficiently while working remotely or in a hybrid office setting.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve processes and stay aligned with client expectations.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of hands‑on data entry experience, preferably within payroll, HR, or finance environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, data sorting, and spreadsheet navigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to type accurately at a speed of at least 45 words per minute with a high degree of precision.
  • Strong computer literacy, comfortable navigating web‑based applications, databases, and cloud‑based platforms.
