About arenaflex – Making Waves in Water Safety

arenaflex is a nationally recognized leader in water safety education, dedicated to teaching swimming skills that empower children and adults alike. With a mission to foster confidence, health, and lifelong enjoyment of the water, arenaflex operates a network of community‑focused locations that combine proven teaching methods with a warm, family‑like atmosphere. As a remote franchise of arenaflex, our Gwinnett‑Hall hub serves the local market while embracing the flexibility of modern work arrangements. Join a purpose‑driven organization where every interaction helps keep the littlest swimmers safe and happy.

Why This Role Matters

Our Business Development and Customer Service Representatives are the front line of arenaflex’s growth engine. You will be the voice that greets prospective families, the problem‑solver who turns inquiries into enrollments, and the ambassador who spreads the arenaflex brand across schools, daycares, and community groups. Your enthusiasm and professionalism directly influence enrollment numbers, customer satisfaction, and the overall reputation of arenaflex in the Gwinnett‑Hall area.

Position Overview

Reporting to the franchise business owner, you will work remotely (with a requirement to reside in the Buford, GA market or nearby areas) in a part‑time or full‑time capacity. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities blend inbound and outbound communication, data entry, issue resolution, and proactive outreach to generate leads and nurture relationships. Success in this role is measured by enrollment targets, customer service metrics, and the ability to maintain a positive, solution‑focused demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Communication: Answer phone calls, manage live chat, and respond to email inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Outbound Outreach: Initiate calls to prospective partners such as daycare centers, preschools, parent groups, and community organizations to promote arenaflex programs and drive enrollment.
  • Customer Issue Management: Resolve complaints, answer product and service questions, and ensure every customer feels heard and valued.
  • Data Accuracy: Enter new customer information into the arenaflex system, update existing records, and maintain meticulous documentation of all interactions.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle payments, class changes, upgrades, orders, forms, and applications with precision and confidentiality.
  • Priority Escalation: Identify high‑urgency situations and route them to the appropriate team members for swift resolution.
  • Follow‑Up Activities: Conduct follow‑up calls on leads, confirm enrollment details, and nurture relationships to convert prospects into long‑term customers.
  • Attendance Management: Enter roll (attendance) sheets into the arenaflex POS and scheduling platform and generate accurate attendance reports.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Complete call logs, produce daily/weekly call reports, and adhere to standard operating procedures for documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend in‑person staff meetings when required, share insights from customer interactions, and stay informed about upcoming events and promotions in the local market.
  • Continuous Learning: Complete arenaflex (POS and Scheduling) and arenaflex online training modules to stay current on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a remote or call‑center environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency with phone systems, CRM software, and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to a structured schedule.
  • Positive, enthusiastic personality with a genuine desire to help families and children.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
  • Residency in Buford, GA or the surrounding area (must be able to attend occasional in‑person meetings).

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Previous experience working with children, schools, or youth programs.
  • Familiarity with water‑safety or swim‑instruction concepts.
  • Experience using arenaflex’s proprietary POS and scheduling platform.
  • Strong persuasive selling techniques balanced with ethical enrollment practices.
  • Ability to interpret and convey technical information in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
  • Comfort with data entry accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
  • Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with franchise goals.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Communication: Clear, friendly, and professional tone across phone, chat, and email channels.
  • Active Listening: Ability to understand customer needs, ask probing questions, and tailor solutions.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quick identification of issues and delivery of effective resolutions.
  • Sales Acumen: Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment targets.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficient management of multiple tasks, leads, and follow‑ups without sacrificing quality.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM tools, scheduling software, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Team Spirit: Collaborative attitude that contributes to a supportive arenaflex culture.

Training, Development & Career Growth

arenaflex invests heavily in the professional development of its team members. Upon hire, you will receive comprehensive onboarding that covers:

  • arenaflex brand philosophy and water‑safety curriculum.
  • Hands‑on training with the arenaflex POS and scheduling system.
  • Best‑practice scripts for inbound and outbound communication.
  • Ethical enrollment strategies and compliance guidelines.

Beyond initial training, you will have access to ongoing webinars, mentorship from seasoned franchise owners, and opportunities to advance into senior sales, operations management, or regional leadership roles. High performers are often considered for full‑time franchise management positions, marketing coordination, or specialized training roles within arenaflex.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $10.00 to $15.00, commensurate with experience, plus performance‑based incentives tied to enrollment goals. Additional benefits include:

  • Flexible scheduling – choose part‑time or full‑time hours that fit your lifestyle.
