Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Support

  • Greet every customer with a friendly, professional demeanor and proactively offer assistance.
  • Answer product‑related questions, provide personalized recommendations, and resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product assortments to guide shoppers effectively.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with arenaflex procedures while ensuring a positive outcome for the customer.

Transaction Management

  • Operate assigned cash registers accurately, processing sales, refunds, and loyalty program transactions.
  • Safeguard cash handling procedures, ensuring the security of cash drawers and adherence to loss‑prevention protocols.
  • Balance registers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.

Merchandise Handling & Store Maintenance

  • Receive inbound shipments, unload trucks, and verify product counts against packing slips.
  • Stock shelves, replenish high‑traffic items, and organize merchandise to meet productivity standards.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to identify out‑of‑stock items, misplaced products, and opportunities for visual merchandising improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment by sweeping, mopping, restocking restrooms, and managing waste disposal.

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with fellow associates, supervisors, and department leads to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Participate in briefings, share customer feedback, and contribute ideas for process enhancements.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, report hazards, and support a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Additional Duties

  • Assist with special promotions, seasonal displays, and inventory counts as assigned.
  • Perform any other tasks delegated by management that support store performance and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience: Prior experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or pharmacy settings is highly valued.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30–50 lb, frequently walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and perform repetitive lifting tasks.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, handheld scanners, and basic computer applications.
