The Inside Sales & Customer Service Associate is the front line of arenaflex’s customer experience. This is a full‑time, Monday‑through‑Friday position with a rotating Saturday morning schedule, offering a balanced work‑life rhythm while keeping you engaged with the dynamic rhythm of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Product Knowledge Development: Acquire a solid understanding of the construction materials, tools, and equipment stocked in the store, including specifications, applications, and safety considerations.
  • Customer Interaction & Sales Execution: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and guide them to the appropriate products. Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit, and alternative payment methods with confidence.
  • Promotions & Upselling: Communicate current sales, discounts, and promotional offers. Recommend complementary items that enhance the customer’s purchase and increase average transaction value.
  • Inventory Management Support: Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments. Ensure shelves and displays are stocked, labeled, and visually appealing. Transfer products between bins to maintain optimal inventory control.
  • Store Maintenance & Safety: Keep the sales floor tidy, aisles clear, and displays orderly. Identify and report any maintenance or safety hazards promptly to protect both customers and teammates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates and management to coordinate floor coverage, restocking efforts, and special events. Participate in periodic inventory counts and cycle counts.

Essential Qualifications – What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
