Iowa Campaign Manager

Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the nation, mobilizing a nationwide network of more than one million Americans. We integrate politics and policy by investing heavily in voter education, issue advocacy, and aggressive grassroots engagement to advance laws that protect the unborn. SBA seeks an experienced and mission-driven Iowa Campaign Manager to lead and execute our state-level political strategy. This role will spearhead SBA's efforts to influence the 2026 midterm elections and lay the groundwork for success in the 2028 Iowa Presidential Caucus, serving as the principal organizer of SBA in the Hawkeye State.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute SBA Pro-Life America's Iowa political and grassroots strategy for the 2026 midterms and 2028 Presidential Caucus Serve as the primary conduit between Iowa operations and SBA's national leadership team Implement comprehensive grassroots and grasstops campaign plans to mobilize voters and key stakeholders Build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with state and local pro-life organizations, conservative leaders, and coalition partners Act as SBA's primary liaison to Iowa Republican Party leadership at the state and local levels Recruit, hire, and manage field, communications, and consulting staff as needed to meet campaign objectives Oversee campaign budgets, reporting, and compliance in coordination with SBA headquarters Core Competencies Strategic Problem-Solving: Demonstrates sound judgment and creativity in navigating complex political challenges while maintaining ethical standards Attention to Detail: Executes work with precision, consistency, and accountability across all responsibilities Public Engagement & Communications: Comfortable and effective speaking before candidates, elected officials, organizational leaders, and grassroots audiences
Requirements
Proven experience working in political campaigns, grassroots advocacy, or issue-based organizing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and leadership abilities Unwavering commitment to the pro-life mission Supervisory Responsibilities This role will manage a growing team as additional staff and consultants are hired to support Iowa operations. Position Type & Work Schedule This is a full-time position located in Iowa. Evening and weekend work is required and expected. Travel Requirements Regular in-state travel across Iowa for meetings, events, and coalition-building is required, with occasional travel to SBA headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
