Natural English Voice for YouTube Videos (Guitar & Bass Content) | Long-Term Collaboration
Hi! I’m looking for a musician (or music enthusiast) with a pleasant, natural speaking voice to help with voice-overs for a YouTube channel about guitars, bass guitars, and music gear. This is not a professional voice-acting job. I’m not looking for a studio-quality narrator or a commercial voice-over artist. Instead, I’m looking for someone who enjoys music, has a natural voice, and is simply comfortable reading and performing scripts in a relaxed, engaging way. The goal is to sound like a real person talking about music in an authentic and enjoyable way, not like a scripted advertisement or formal narration. ⸻ Important context
- Each video script is approximately 10 minutes long
- You will receive fully prepared scripts
- Content is planned in advance
- This is a long-term collaboration (2 videos per week) ⸻ What you will do
- Record provided English scripts (approx. 10 minutes each)
- Speak in a natural, conversational, and engaging tone
- Bring energy and personality into the delivery (without overacting)
- Pronounce guitar, bass, and music gear terms correctly
- Deliver clear, clean audio recordings
- Ensure reliable and punctual delivery ⸻ Important You do not need professional recording equipment. A modern smartphone is completely fine, as long as the audio is clear and recorded in a quiet environment. ⸻ Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Ideally a musician or someone with genuine interest in music
- Comfortable speaking naturally for longer scripts (around 10 minutes)
- Clear pronunciation of instrument and gear names
- Natural, relaxed, and engaging speaking style
- Reliability and punctual delivery are very important
- Good communication ⸻ What I am NOT looking for
- Professional voice actors or studio narrators
- Radio-style or commercial voice-over delivery
- Overly polished or scripted-sounding voices
- Monotone reading
- Artificial or exaggerated performance style ⸻ Voice Sample Task (IMPORTANT) Please record the following text in a natural and conversational style (not over-acted, not like reading an advertisement): “When people talk about legendary bass guitars, the Fender Precision Bass and the Jazz Bass are usually among the first names that come up. But depending on the style of music, players often prefer completely different instruments. For example, the Music Man StingRay is famous for its punchy, aggressive tone, while the Rickenbacker Four Hundred One has a very distinctive sound that became iconic in classic rock. On the guitar side, models like the Gibson ES-Three Thirty-Five, the Fender Telecaster Deluxe, the PRS Custom Twenty-Four, and the Ibanez RG Five-Fifty are all known for very different playing styles and tonal characteristics. Some players love the warm sound of a Gretsch White Falcon, while others prefer modern instruments like the Strandberg Boden or a Suhr Classic S. In heavier genres, guitars such as the Jackson Soloist or the ESP LTD EC-1000 are extremely popular. Ultimately, the best instrument always depends on the player, the genre, and the sound they want to achieve.” ⸻ How to apply Please send: 1. Your voice sample (30–90 seconds) using the text above 2. A short introduction about yourself
- Your experience with music, guitars, bass guitars, or gear
- What recording device you use (smartphone is fine) ⸻ We are looking for a long-term partner for ongoing YouTube production (2 videos per week, approx. 10 minutes each). Looking forward to your application! Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
