Care Navigator, RN - Workers' Compensation

Join our team as a Nurse Care Navigator, a pivotal role supporting Physician Reviewers and ensuring injured workers receive timely, appropriate care. This is a full-time opportunity with flexibility, requiring one day a week in the office. In this role, you will:

  • Support clinical decision-making by assisting Physician Reviewers in determining the right level of care when needed.
  • Manage case flow by taking return calls when case management calls don’t occur as scheduled.
  • Step in seamlessly to cover claims staff during medical case management calls and to back up the Medical Treatment Review Specialist.
  • Advocate for workers by guiding enrolled workers who need extra help navigating the workers’ compensation system.

Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse license or equivalent
  • 3 years of workers’ compensation, clinical and/or case management experience
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining mutually beneficial internal and external relationships
  • Orthopedic or occupational medicine experience is a plus
  • Case management certification is preferred, but not required
