Responsibilities
As a Phone Intake Representative for arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling approximately 60-65 inbound calls per day, ranging from healthcare service requests to more complex inquiries. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Call Handling: Servicing incoming calls from providers, referral sources, and patients through an inbound phone queue, utilizing multiple applications and a dual monitor setup to assist customers with services, including durable medical equipment, home healthcare services, providing information, and answering questions related to service registration.
- Customer Assistance: Utilizing your exceptional communication skills to provide empathetic and patient support to callers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Quality Assurance: Participating in regular quality assurance activities to ensure that you are meeting or exceeding individual performance targets in key areas such as call average handle time (AHT), quality of call, attendance, adherence, and other contact center objectives specific to the call center and job role.
A Day in the Life
As a Phone Intake Representative for arenaflex, you can expect to work an 8-hour shift with a scheduled 30-minute lunch break and scheduled breaks throughout the day. You will be required to work from home in a remote and high-volume healthcare call center environment, utilizing a dual monitor setup and multiple applications to assist customers with services.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment, and 1 year working in healthcare with medical terminology.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with navigating dual monitors and multiple applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Keyboarding: Type at a speed of 30 WPM with ability to perform data entry while actively listening.
- Search Engine Use: Competence in tasks like clicking, troubleshooting, opening a browser, bookmarking sites, and navigating with back/forward buttons.
- Assessment: A passing score on the SHL Customer Service Phone Simulation Assessment is required to proceed in the interview process.
