Job Summary
As a Federal Financial Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, answering customer inquiries, and documenting customer information into our database. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive the best possible customer experience, and you will be expected to follow protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with our clients' requirements.
Responsibilities
* Answer customer inquiries with professional courtesy, giving exceptional customer service to each customer, based on client-specific instruction.
- Document each customer's inquiry information into a database.
- Verify customer information, making corrections and updates as needed.
- Actively listen to recognize opportunities to offer additional information to callers, ensuring the caller and client have received the best customer service experience possible.
- Follow-up with callers as necessary.
- Use statistical contact center data to make improvements to performance.
- Outbound calling for surveying to obtain client-specific information.
- Shift and schedule adherence.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED: must be able to provide proof of education, such as a diploma or college transcripts, at the time of offer.
- This position requires US Citizenship or 3 years of permanent residency.
- Prior call center or customer service experience is highly desired.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge on how to operate a computer, use internet search engines, and navigate multiple windows/tabs.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment criteria testing and internet speed test.
Background Requirements
* The position requires an extensive, multi-step federal clearance.
- Candidates must be able to travel to the client's location to complete fingerprinting and security requirements.
- Offices are located in Dallas, TX, and Atlanta, GA.
- Candidates must have US Citizenship or three years of permanent residency.
Candidates must provide the following documentation to start the background process:
* Original or certified copy of the birth certificate OR passport.
- Addresses, employment history/dates, and education for the last 10 years.
- Two forms of valid, unexpired identification.
- Job history template listing all work history, including dates. Estimation or incorrect job history dates may deem you ineligible.
Working from Home Requirements
* Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular high-speed internet service, such as Fiber, DSL, or cable modems, for a home office.
- Must be able to meet the minimum internet speed requirements for the specific program, which are 50 MBPS download and 15 MBPS upload.
- Hotspots, satellite, Wi-Fi, and wireless internet service are NOT allowed for this role.
