About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our GDS Market Sector team. As a Project Manager, Customer Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing project teams in the field of expeditionary engineering, ensuring the successful execution of projects in the Pacific region. You will work closely with our customers, uniformed engineering units, to devise novel, innovative, and digital solutions that best meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee project teams in the field of expeditionary engineering, ensuring the successful execution of projects in the Pacific region.
- Develop and implement project strategies, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and resource allocation, to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Assist Program Managers in managing and controlling project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government authorities.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement timely mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards throughout project execution.
- Travel to logistically constrained, austere locations in the Pacific to assist joint engineering units successfully construct required mission critical infrastructure (i.e., waterfront and airfield).
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.
What You'll Bring
* At least 10 years' progressive leadership experience leading multidisciplinary teams in expeditionary engineering.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in expeditionary engineering or construction projects.
- Experience in applying risk assessment and mitigation strategies by leveraging skills, experience, and education to build a better, more resilient, and sustainable mission critical waterfront infrastructure, airfields, transportation and logistics, environment and natural resource, facility, and public safety business services.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- History of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to provide high-level technical design oversight.
- Willingness to mentor staff.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.
Additional Requirements
* US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation and Benefits
* Expected Salary: $150,000 per year
- arenaflex offers a comprehensive compensation package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
- The position will primarily work remotely, with preference given to those who reside in Honolulu or Guam.
