Job Summary
arenaflex is seeking highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Airline Customer Service Representatives. This is a remote position where you will assist airline passengers with inquiries, reservations, flight changes, and general travel concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls, emails, and chat inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Assist customers with flight reservations, cancellations, rebookings, and ticket modifications, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
- Provide accurate and timely information on airline policies, baggage rules, check-in procedures, and flight status updates.
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with airport and airline staff to ensure smooth operations for passengers, ensuring timely and efficient travel experiences.
- Process refunds, vouchers, and travel credits when necessary, maintaining accurate customer records and adhering to data protection guidelines.
- Meet performance targets, including call handling time and customer satisfaction scores, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree is a plus).
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or airline industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, reservation platforms, and CRM software, with a strong ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers.
- Multilingual candidates are a plus (especially Spanish, French, or Mandarin).
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience (airline or travel industry preferred).
- Previous experience working remotely is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible shifts available, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week for part-time roles.
- Full-time employees work 40 hours per week on rotating shifts.
