Job Description
A telecommunications company is seeking an Address & GIS Specialist to serve as the single owner of address data across the organization. This role is critical to customer serviceability, fiber network operations, 911/MSAG compliance, and investor reporting. The specialist will manage large address datasets end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with USPS addressing standards and NENA / 911 requirements. Working closely with the GIS & Mapping team, this role acts as the address subject‑matter expert, supporting passings reports and other high‑visibility data used across operations, marketing, and leadership. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience managing large address datasets, familiarity with 911 / MSAG and NENA standards, and experience with USPS address validation. General GIS experience (Esri / ArcGIS) is preferred but not required; addressing accuracy and data discipline are the top priorities. This is a fully remote position in Colorado, Nebraska, Indiana, or Missouri. Contract‑to‑hire role with clear ownership, visibility, and long‑term impact as the company scales. $35-$40/hour Candidates with backgrounds in telecom, fiber, utilities, or other regulated infrastructure environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
