Senior Financial Analyst - Remote Opportunity

Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including annual budgeting, long-term forecasting, and monthly variance analysis. Develop, maintain, and improve sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management, highlighting key trends, insights, and recommendations. Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, investigating significant variances and providing explanations. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process efficiencies. Provide financial guidance and support to business unit leaders. Stay current with accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Mentor junior financial analysts and contribute to the development of the finance team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. MBA or Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, macros) and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information effectively. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting. CPA or CFA designation is highly desirable.
