Remote Bookkeeper( U.S Experience )
About the Role
Aligna Bookkeeping Solutions is seeking an experienced remote bookkeeper to support our US-based clients with comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation services.
Requirements
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience with US-based businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of US payroll processing and tax compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage client accounts
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform monthly account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Process payroll, calculate withholdings, and ensure payroll tax compliance
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Track deductible expenses and prepare 1099 forms for contractors
- Organize tax-ready documentation and support year-end reporting
- Communicate effectively with clients and respond to inquiries promptly
