Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Technical Training Specialist to join our team in Miami, FL. As a key member of our Customer Training Delivery team, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering technical training programs for our customers, focusing on composite repair and maintenance. Your expertise in composite repair, prepreg, and wet layup will be essential in creating engaging and effective training experiences that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and define customer technical training needs and requirements, working closely with customers to understand their evolving requirements
- Develop technical training proposals, evaluating and determining training objectives, content, design, and technologies
- Use specialized software technology to research, develop, and modify new and existing media and materials, ensuring high-quality training experiences
- Prepare lesson plans and instruct participants, delivering training programs that meet our customers' needs
- Research, develop, deliver, and evaluate the effectiveness of standard technical training, ensuring continuous improvement
- Support the development and documentation of training standards and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality across our training programs
Essential Qualifications
* Advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Proven expertise in composite repair, prepreg, and wet layup, with a strong understanding of composite sandwich repair and damage removal
- Experience interpreting commercial technical data, including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals, and Boeing Structural Repair manuals
- Familiarity with instructional system development and technical training delivery, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development, with a strong understanding of training development and delivery
- Familiarity with composite non-destructive testing, composite material ordering and storage, and composite repair lab development and maintenance
- Proficiency in software skills, including PowerPoint and other specialized software technologies

* Strong technical expertise in composite repair and maintenance, with a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
