Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. You'll work closely with our clients, technicians, and management to provide exceptional support, respond to client requests, and maintain our internal databases. Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets and internal databases to track customer information and orders

  • Transfer data from client databases to internal databases, ensuring seamless integration and minimal errors
  • Update customer information in our database, ensuring that all records are current and accurate
  • Organize existing data in spreadsheets, client databases, and internal databases, making it easily accessible and usable
  • Verify outdated data and make necessary changes to records, ensuring that our data is always current and accurate
  • Operate common office equipment, including computers, scanners, and printers, with ease and efficiency
  • Search for and investigate information contained in files, providing valuable insights and support to our team
  • Perform regular database backups to secure our data and prevent loss
  • Input text-based and numerical information from source documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide occasional administrative support to our team, including tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically, maintaining a clutter-free and organized workspace
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results
  • Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Type in data quickly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills, with experience working with Windows-based computers
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner, working effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work alone and with a team
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check, ensuring a safe and secure work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a data entry or administrative role, with a strong understanding of database management and data entry processes

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Ability to work in a remote or office-based environment, with a strong focus on flexibility and adaptability

  • The work environment is that of an office position with minimal to high noise levels or may be remote based
  • The position requires working independently, as well as part of a team
  • This position requires verbal and face-to-face contact with others daily
  • Frequent use of a computer is necessary
  • This position requires use of all general office equipment
