Role Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative/Call Center at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to healthcare providers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls from healthcare providers regarding benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits, and other related topics
- Creating written correspondence if issues were not resolved during the call
- Conducting provider outreach phone calls to collect missing information from medical providers
- Routing inquiries needing further investigation to the appropriate department and conducting routine case checks as needed
- Completing all relevant documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends
Required Skills/Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of remote phone customer service experience in the healthcare industry
- 2+ years of prior work-from-home experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with healthcare providers and resolve complex issues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Proficiency in using technology, including computer systems and software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- 2+ years of healthcare industry experience in a provider (hospital/doctor's office) setting
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))

Compensation and Benefits
